Noisy and gregarious bird, living in dry thornveld with large trees. It feeds on insects, seeds and fruit. It collects most of food on the ground. Oiseau bruyant et grégaire, il vit dans les steppes épineuses sèches avec de grands arbres. Il se nourrit d'insectes, de graines et de fruits. Il collecte la majorité de sa nourriture sur le sol.
