Endemic or near endemic to Kruger National Park. Common resident. They feed on invertebrates and nectar. They live in woodland, wetland and bushveld areas. Often seen singly or in pairs. Endémique ou presque du Parc Kruger. Résident commun. Ils se nourrissent d'invertébrés et de nectar. Ils vivent dans les zones boisées, humides et les steppes buissonneuses. On les voit souvent seuls ou en couples.
